One app. The graveyard, ended.
Open the folder on your phone called Health. Count the apps. The number, on average, is 11. Now open Settings → Subscriptions. The number you're paying per year for that folder, on average, is £400.
Thier is the layer above all of them. £79 per year. Reads from your wearables, runs the data through a transparent 13-domain bio-age model, and tells you the one thing to do today - not 47 things.
14 health apps, 0 coherent answer.
Each app on your phone solves one slice and sends you a notification telling you you're winning that slice. You're not optimising one slice. You're trying to be alive in 30 years. That's a different problem - and it doesn't have an app.
It does now.
12 apps. One subscription.
Each card below is a real subscription a beta user cancelled in their first 30 days with Thier. Not all 12 will apply to you - but if you've been running 3-4 of these stacked, the math is unambiguous.
Pricing reflects publicly listed annual rates as of May 2026. Hardware (Whoop band, Eight Sleep mattress, etc.) is kept; only the software subscriptions are retired. Receipts compiled from a sample of 200 beta users.
Steven's actual stack.
2025 health-app subscriptions vs 2026. The number that changed the most was bio-age trend.
2025
2026 (year-to-date)
Compound the £603/year difference at 7% over 30 years - that's £40,000 saved. A year of healthspan, paid in cash. The maths is open.
Your fragmented stack vs Thier.
Twelve apps each owning a slice, none of them speaking to each other. One app that reads from all of them and gives you one answer.
| Capability | Fragmented stack | Thier |
|---|---|---|
| Sources of truth | 12+ apps | 1 app, reading from all sources |
| Subscriptions | 4-7 active, £400+/year | 1, £79/year |
| Coherent recommendation | Contradictory, by design | One daily move |
| Bio-age model | None - fragmented dashboards | 13 domains, 100+ peer-reviewed coefficients |
| Recovery context across domains | Single-app silos | Cross-domain (HRV + sleep + nutrition + training) |
| Lab + genetic + supplement | 3 separate apps minimum | Built-in |
| AI Coach with memory of your data | One per app, no context sharing | Single Coach reading all data |
| Open / published math | Each app's score is closed | 100+ coefficients cited |
| Notification load | 14-23/day across apps | 1/day at 06:30 |
| Daily-open habit | Splintered across 4-7 apps | One app, one ritual |
| Hardware lock-in | Often (Whoop, Eight Sleep) | None - reads from any wearable |
| Total spend | £400-£800/year | £79/year |
"My Health folder went from 14 apps to 4. The 4 are data sources - Apple Health, Oura, Strava, plus Thier. Thier is the only one I actually open. The other three I forget about, which is the right amount. £400/year of subscriptions cancelled. Bio age down 1.4y in 8 weeks. The maths works."
Built it because I needed it.
From fragmented to coherent.
Install Thier
iPhone, iOS 17+. Universal-link supported.
Connect Apple Health
The hub. Every other health app you have writes to HealthKit; Thier reads from there.
Connect your wearables
Oura, Garmin, Polar, Withings, Fitbit, Strava. Each is one OAuth click.
Get your bio age
Three minutes of self-report. The model fires.
Open Subscriptions in Settings
Cancel one a week. The receipts will speak for themselves.
For people about to consolidate.
Will Thier really replace 12 apps?
It will replace the subscriptions. Hardware (Whoop band, Oura ring, Eight Sleep mattress, your CGM) keeps writing to HealthKit; Thier reads it. Nutrition apps (MyFitnessPal, Cronometer) get demoted from primary daily-open to passive logger. Meditation apps (Calm, Headspace) get fully replaced by the breath drill in Tools.
Why £79/year if it replaces £400+?
We're solo-built and software-only. We don't ship hardware, don't run massive ad budgets, don't have 50-person teams. The price reflects what the product costs to run, not what the market would pay if we maxed out. We'd rather sustainable than extractive.
Is it really iPhone-only?
Yes, today. iOS 17+. Android is on the roadmap for early 2027 - explicit, not "coming soon". HealthKit's data plumbing is the cleanest start.
What if I have apps not on your replaced list?
If they write to HealthKit, Thier reads them. The 12-app list is the most common stack we see. If you've got something specific (PrecisionFuel, Cyclic, Coros, niche supplement trackers), email hi@thier.app.
How is this different from Apple Health?
Apple Health is the data plumbing - it stores and routes your health data. Thier is a coach on top of it. We don't compete with HealthKit; we read from it.
What about my data?
Health data stays in HealthKit and your wearable provider's API; Thier reads on demand, doesn't replicate. Account data lives in Supabase, encrypted at rest + in transit. Full privacy policy at /privacy.
One app ate the graveyard.
£79/year. iPhone-only. 7-day free trial. Replaces 4-7 subscriptions on average.
